Vancouver International Boat Show

VANCOUVER, BC – The results of an exciting new design partnership between one of Canada’s best known fashion designers and two boat industry icons will be unveiled during day one at the 2011 Vancouver International Boat Show, returning February 9th to 13th at its new venue, the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Just in time for this year’s Show, Vancouver based Jason Dussault, President and Designer of Dussault Apparel Inc., will create a custom design wrap, embroidered interior, and custom metal work for a champion towboat offered by Centurion World Championship Towboats and distributed through award-winning boat dealer, Breakwater Marine.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce this new design partnership with Dussault because we know that Centurion and Dussault customers share a common passion for action sports,” says Brett Potts of Centurion. Aaron Fell from Breakwater Marine adds, “Centurion has always been an innovation leader in the boating industry and this design partnership is another of their ahead of the pack thinking.”

“Dussault is all about ‘living fast’ so it’s a great fit for us,” says Jason Dussault. “We are looking forward to the joint promotional opportunities in the year ahead. And with its visitors who are so passionate about the boating lifestyle, the Vancouver International Boat Show was the obvious choice for the unveiling of this first set of new products.”

“We’re thrilled to be the venue for the unveiling of this incredible collaboration,” says Linda Waddell, President, Canadian Boat Shows, Inc. “We’re used to having world-class products on our Show floor and this one-of-kind Centurion ENZO, with Dussault designs, will take the visitor experience one step further.”

The custom one-of-a-kind Dussault Centurion ENZO watercraft, valued at $150,000.00, will be sold to the highest bidder by the end of the Show, with partial proceeds benefiting Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and the Make A Wish Foundation.  As part of the design project, Dussault will also be creating two custom life jackets and a custom surfboard wrap.  These items will be on display throughout the show and then awarded to lucky show attendees through a random draw.
