The 11th Annual Canadian Cancer Society, BC and Yukon Division, Diamond Ball was held last Saturday at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Deemed as the society's signature fundraising event, this year's theme, "I Love the Nightlife" saw guests in both tuxedos and gowns as well as leisure suits and sequins. Disco dancing, mirror balls, live and silent auctions and entertainment highlighted the $350 per ticket evening which was looking to top last year's figures of over $500,000.
