A4K (Athletics for Kids) Cocktail reception at Hollyburn Country Club
Nov 10, 2007
By Catherine "Cat" Barr
The North Shore Outlook is delivered to over 60,000 homes in Canada's wealthiest communities, North Vancouver and West Vancouver, every Thursday - over 60,000 issues in print. |
They've helped hundreds of kids and raised thousands of dollars and still, after six years of fun and fundraising, they continue to grow and prosper. The committee members behind A4K (Athletics for Kids) believe that all kids deserve to plays sports, no matter what their income. Their signature fundraiser, a title card boxing gala held in April at Hollyburn, is only the beginning. But getting that event ready starts early, like this past week where a special cocktail reception was held in honour of all the hard to done, and all the hard work to come.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.
If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks. |
