Girls just wanna have fun this week past as the ladies ruled the big screen and the golf scene. First, it was all about the shoes, the clothes and the BIG ending for Sex and the City fans at the Expert Recruiters private screening party at the Scotiabank Theatre on Burrard. Cosmo martinis, champagne and canapes started the night off in style before guests got a chance to laugh and cry with Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda. Next, it was time to get into the swing of things with Wendy Cocchia and the 21st Annual Women's Media Golf Tournament. Rainy skies couldn't damped the spirits of these gals as they hit it home big time for a new autism centre and mediated learning academy. Later, back at the stylish Beyond restaurant and lounge, the gals were treated to a fabulous buffet dinner, fashion show and prize draws. I don't know about our golfing skills - but everyone was more than happy to give it a go "fore" this very worthwhile cause.
