Healthy food, fun food and famous food highlight this past week's events which, most definitely, were gastronomic delights every step of the way. First, the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame's annual gala dinner dished out honours to local restaurateurs and more at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Front of House, Friend of the Industry and a Lifetime Achievement award to the late James Barber were all part of the ceremonies. Next, congratulations are in order for the gang at the Ocean Club restaurant and lounge in West Vancouver where a sexy second anniversary party saw VIPs party till the wee hours. Former Olympians Dr. Doug and Diane Clement entertained family and invited guests at the Shaw Tower for the launch of their new healthy lifestyle cookbook. But the week ended on a high note thanks to one of this city's most distinguished gentlemen - Bill Hatwell of Craftsman Collision fame - who, thanks to his very generous, private, donation to the Grammy and Juno award-winning Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, helped support the arts and the recent Mambo Kings concert at the Orpheum Theatre.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.
If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks. |
