Fashionistas from all over B.C. had to kick it into high gear last week as a veritable frenzy of fashion forward events kept everyone on their toes. BC Fashion Week saw a series of local designers show off their wares all week long at the Chinese Cultural Centre. After parties and receptions galore meant the well-heeled had lots to choose from, including Brian Jessel's BMW dealership who held their annual Cabriolet Charity Fashion Gala. Benefiting the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation and the BC Women's Hospital, the evening featured fashions by Hugo Boss and fabulous food and libations from some of the city's top restaurants. But ending the week off with punch was the A4K - Athletics for Kids Gala at West Van's Hollyburn Country Club. Olympic style sanctioned boxing was the main event of this black tie dinner where celebrity athletes and supporters raised funds for sports equipment and fees for underprivileged kids.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.
If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks. |
