Pinch me - I must be dreaming. At least that's what I thought last week as diamonds, champagne, battling bars and movie stars made for a celebrity-studded week of fun and fundraisers. Sanafir restaurant's first annual Champagne and Shoes event, which raised money for B.C. Cancer, kicked off the weekend in style. The champagne continued to flow Friday night at the exclusive Steve Nash VIP "Carats" diamond and poker event, held in conjunction with the NBA star's classic basketball fundraiser for kids. Next day, once the bubbly was gone, it was down to Yaletown to judge the Epic Battle of the Bartenders at the Yaletown Street Party. The competition was fierce and picking a fave wasn't easy for us - but fourteen cocktails later, we crowned a winner. Then, for those still standing, Rouge 2007 was the place to be as A-list actors and industry pros danced the night away in support of Women in Film and Video Vancouver (WIFVV).

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.
If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks. |
