Ever since Jennifer Beals sported a sexy, ripped sweatshirt in 1983's Flashdance, exercise gear has become much more than sweat stuff. Fast forward to the year 2000 and a man named Chip Wilson who, after a life-changing Yoga class, opened the first ever lululemon athletica location in Kits. Today, he's transcended the 80s dance fad to produce a stylish and hip brand that, he says, was created for the "Super Girl market". Last weekend, Chip's passion for fashion and health was celebrated in the company's 6th annual lululemon Flip Flop Soiree in Shaughnessy. He even put himself on the auction block donating a private "Dinner With Chip" at West restaurant. Along wtih the Cactus Club Cafe, the $100 per head event helped raise money for Inspire Health - The Centre for Integrated Healing - a holistic treatment centre for cancer.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.
If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph.
