Restaurateur Bud Kanke is the newest big fish on the block in Yaletown thanks to last week's opening of the new Goldfish Pacific Kitchen. Kanke, who has turned the old Umberto owned Circolo location into a swank lounge and dining room, was one of a plethora of places that are rushing to open their doors for the upcoming summer season. It's also a double win this week if you, like me, enjoy wining and dining your way around town because many restaurants are featuring live jazz and after concert parties as part of the TD Canada Trust Vancouver International Jazz Festival which continues all week at various locations, some of them free, until July 1.
