It must be spring - so bring on the galas. Last Wednesday "Cabriolet - Brian Jessel BMW Fashion Gala 2006" saw guests put their best foot forward as Jessel's stylish dealership on Boundary Road was transformed into a glamorous ballroom/runway. Top local chefs dished the food then Leone models took to the catwalk all in support of Goldie Hawn's Bright Light Foundation and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. Friday night was VIP night at the private West Van home of Eric Savic who, in conjunction with CityTV pioneer Moses Znaimer, hosted "A Taste of ideaCity". The evening launch was a personal invite to attend the "ideaCity 06" mastermind conference in Toronto in June where, over three days, 50 people of various backgrounds and influence will aim to inspire us through their stories.
