He had one of the NHL's most memorable moustaches - so much so, that even now this former Canuck remains a big fan favourite. Dave Babych started the Babych and Friends Anglers Challenge and Charity Auction almost eight years ago in support of the CHILD Foundation of British Columbia. Last Thursday, at Le Bistro in North Van, friends and supporters came out in force to help battle in the fight against Crohn's disease and colitis. Congrats to all involved.

With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would
quickly exceed the amount of memory needed. If you would like to receive a copy
of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the
details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number
and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for
security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures
to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo.

We loved him as a Canuck, but his Stanley Cup winning season with Calgary still stands out. Big defenceman Dana Murzyn and son Tyler took in all the action. |

Former MLA Grace McCarthy established the CHILD foundation in 1995 when her granddaughter was diagnosed with Crohn's. Michelle Corday (left) can sympathize as brother Shayne battles the same. This night the Corday family donated $5,000 to the cause. |
