The Athletics for Kids (A4K) organization is now in its fourth year of supporting North Shore kids and their pursuit of sport. Designed for those who can't always afford to play, this team of local heroes goes to bat on behalf of the kids in the community. A special reception was held last Monday at Hollyburn Country Club to mark the occasion and give invited guests, members and sponsors a chance to socialize. The big yearly fundraiser, which features sanctioned boxing matches and a gala dinner, is scheduled for April 7, 2006
