West Vancouver's Kelly Marits knows
that even big
girls like to dress-up and play princess once in a while.
So last week, at Hollyburn Country Club, ladies from the
North Shore and beyond got a chance to indulge at the Fall
Frenzy PJ Pamper Party. Spa services, manicures, entertainment,
shopping booths, fashion show and food were all on the menu
for this gals only night out. See all the fun you guys missed
out on.
The new Village at Park Royal is
one hot property these days, just ask realtors Karim and
Haneef Virani who celebrated the opening of their new location
last weekend with a special afternoon party. Friends and
family were on hand to congratulate as was Canucks' defenceman
Brent Sopel who was more than happy to sign autographs for
everyone.
Giving kids equal access to play
sports, regardless of income, is a pretty important thing.
That's where the good folks at Athletics 4 Kids (A4K) come
in. Their fundraising efforts, which include a
black-tie dinner and live boxing match in April, have attracted
the support of local sports fans and athletes alike. On Monday,
at Hollyburn Country Club, the group held a cocktail reception
to thank sponsors and gear up for next year's efforts.
