Mulgrave School New Head of School Welcome

Jan 20, 2004

By Catherine Barr

West Vancouver's Mulgrave School will soon be getting a new head honcho. Tony Macoun, who comes to the school from Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School in Calgary, will be taking over as headmaster on July 1 of this year. In preparation of his arrival, the school's board of directors held a welcoming wine and cheese reception on Tuesday evening. Lots of introductions and handshakes were in order for the new man who, judging by the smiles, has already won the hearts of parents and colleagues alike.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Looking lovely, Denise Duchene (left), Carlota Lee and Mulgrave's advancement associate Alice Benson all wore welcoming smiles.
Board of Directors vice-chair Russ Benson (left) and chair Tony Allard chatted with interim Head of School Simon Bruce-Lockhart who will soon relinquish command.
He's the new kid on the block, for now. Incoming headmaster Tony Macoun was welcomed by director of upper school Eddie de Beer.
Checking out the proceedings were parents Janice Wells (left), Veronique Curaudeau and board secretary Ann Dillon.
MVP (Mulgrave Volunteer Parents) president Shirleen Allen and husband Jim were on hand to greet the new head man.
Always hustling and bustling, community development director Julia Common helped look after details.
