The new village at Park Royal mall
is holding a series of wonderful grand openings this month,
but none can top the Home Depot's "Inspire
to Dream" gala night. The $300 per person
fundraiser honoured athlete Rick Hansen and his work and
featured a private, intimate concert with Jann Arden. A silent
auction, which featured, large screen tv's, a $5,000 Home
Depot decorator consultation and a brand new car, helped
raise money for this very worthwhile cause. The store's public
grand opening is today.
