West Van's Kay Meek Centre for the
Performing Arts opened its doors Saturday for a gala engagement
that won't soon be forgotten. "The Prince of Africa", performed
by the African Children's Choir, is the first major production
to be held in the centre. Sponsored in part by the Latta
Financial Group, the evening included a VIP reception and
chance to meet the cast, most of whom are enrolled
in the Music for Life program which supports orphaned or
impoverished children throughout the continent. A definite
feel good, the show runs at the centre until Nov. 14.

With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would
quickly exceed the amount of memory needed. If you would like to receive a copy
of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the
details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number
and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for
security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures
to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo.
Thanks. |
