It
was a historic night in West Vancouver last week as Hollyburn
Country
Club
transformed
the main
gym into a black-tie boxing night fundraiser that
won't soon be forgotten. The Athletics
4 Kids organization (which raises money for sports equipment
and fees for kids) gave the audience what they came for with
a fabulous martini reception, a gourmet dinner and six matches
of sanctioned amateur boxing that took place in the ring
amidst the tables filled with tuxedos. It was true sport
and true class, the kind that would have made Vegas promoters
envious. Hey guys, let's do it again next year.
