Women's Power Challenge

REALITY television shows are all the rage, and now the North Shore is a part of one. The Women's Power Challenge (which can be seen this fall on the Outdoor Life Network and on WTSN) was shot on location at Ambleside Park and Seymour Mountain. The series, which was the brainchild of twin sisters Sandi Parmelee and Gail Lendarduzzi, showcases women athletes in a test of strength and skill. Each week, one of the women is eliminated, winding down to a four player final challenge to decide the winner. The wrap party and screening was held on Friday Sept. 20 in the ballroom of the North Vancouver Holiday Inn to celebrate and, judging from the footage, you won't want to miss this show.
