NSCU Golf

GETTING good weather for a golf tournament in late September is lucky indeed. But that's what the good folks at the North Shore Credit Union got as they hit the links at Seymour Golf and Country Club on Sept. 27 for their 5th annual tournament. All the proceeds raised go to support the North Shore Search and Rescue gang who are on constant vigil, rescuing individuals from the North Shore mountains and the tough terrain surrounding them. Lots of prizes, a fabulous dinner and silent auction items helped round out a great afternoon of fund raising for this very worthy cause.

The Weather Channel's Oga Nwobosi came to the tournament in a Talon helicopter, which is used for rescues, with pilot Peter Murray. They landed on the fairway in style.
