Pauline Johnson - Morocco






"GALA 2002 - A Taste of Morocco" was the theme for the good folks at Ecole Pauline Johnson as they gathered to celebrate "fete d'hiver" and do a little fundraising. On Saturday, Feb. 9, parents, friends, teachers and guests got all dressed up to have some fun and dine "a la marocaine". There were lots of fabulous live auction items and the bidding was fierce. The French immersion school is home to approximately 350 students who, like many other schools, will be able to enhance their programs and learning thanks to the many sponsors who helped make this evening a success. Congratulations everyone.

Pascal and Isabelle Spothelfer enjoyed the meal of Moroccan cucumber salad and spiced chicken.

Four Season's executive chef Fabrice Rossmann and wife Agnes have two children who attend the school.

Modelling the latest fashions, moms Gila Hartges (left) and Jutta Simmons encouraged everyone to bid on $4,000 of Nancy Lord gift certificates.
