Inglewood Preschool

ON Friday February 22, the good folks at the Inglewood Parents Participation Preschool held their first annual wine tasting and silent auction. It was a great night at the West Vancouver Lawn Bowling facility as friends and family, parents and guests gathered to sample some vino and bid on some fabulous prizes. All in the name of a good cause, the funds raised will go to support the school and its programs. Next on the list for the parents will be finding a new teacher so they can carry on their 50 year tradition, one of the longest on the North Shore.

	President Donna Weston and her hubby John have two boys aged 3 and 4 who attend the school.
	Representing Select Wines were reps Richard Kobayashi and Lara Mickel.
	Chairman Alison Wood was pleased with the turnout, as was her husband Eddie, who didn't mind acting as the evening's MC.
	Nikki Jewell (left) said she enjoyed the Zinfadel while Wendie Kottmeier preferred the Cabernet.
	Gustaf Creutz and his bride-to-be Erin are the very proud parents of little baby Ella who was born shortly before Christmas.
	Chris Cameron attended the event with her beau, Steven Darvell, who plays rugby with the UBC Ravens.
	Frankie Cameron (from left) has taught at the school for close to 13 years. Heather Harivel, Mike and Sarah Fedak will be sorry to see her retire.
	Lots of food and beautiful trays were offered to guests thanks in part to organizers Alyson Ford (left) and Lori Kamlah.
	Having some fun with friends were Kathleen Whyte (from left), husband John and preschool parent Clare Louie.
	WV firefighter Jay Brownlee (from left), wife Christine and Grand Marnier rep Chris Brown were happy to give their support.
	Venessa Clark (from left), preferred the white wines, but Kevin Clayton and Susan Hanney were partial to the reds.
