Raise a Glass to Blass

THERE wasn't a cloud in the sky for miles on Sunday April 28 as guests took the tram to the top of Grouse Mountain for one of the most spectacular wine-tasting events ever to come to the North Shore. Raise a Glass to Blass, which was held in the Observatory restaurant, was one of the last winemaker's dinners to be held as part of the Vancouver Playhouse's International Wine Festival. Chef Sylvain Currier paired the finest B.C. ingredients with some superb Australian Mildara Blass Estate wines for a truly unforgettable evening. Well worth the $100 ticket price.
