Deep Cove Regatta

SUNDAY, Sept. 8 was one rainy day, but that didn't stop over 40 sailboats from heading out onto the water for the final races in the Martin Marine Deep Cove Yacht Club Regatta. Club members and visitors alike raced against time and each other for prizes and prestige, or at least bragging rights. Make no mistake about it, this is a sport that's hard work, but there's always time to party. The weekend event consisted of two days of racing, social activities, food and more. Aye, matie, a little rain never hurt anybody.
