Bronco Busters

HOWDY partner, know any good cowboy songs? Or maybe line dancing is your thing? Well it was anything but quiet on the western front on Feb. 22 at North Vancouver's Silver Harbour centre as a sold out audience was in attendance for one of their most popular annual events. It was the Bronco Busters Ball and cowboys and gals came out to dine on some western grub, sing some cowboy songs, see some fabulous entertainment and do a little line dancing. Just check out some of the fun below.

Some western chicken, corn and potatoes made the perfect meal, just ask Leona Drew (clockwise from back left), Delene Dutoit and Betty Cornford.

Cooking up a storm in the kitchen were volunteers Jim Haswell (from left), Vera Mollard and Sheila Siddoo.

For six years now Cornelius Pieterman has been running the Tuesday night dancing. This night he donned his cowboy duds and looked great.

Tom Galloway was darn near hog tied as he helped out with one of the rope tricks.

Edith Halverson (left) and Peggy McMillan were singing along with all the great cowboy tunes.

Pat Dorian (left) and Howard Gawley looked just like the sherrif and his deputy.
