Justin Trudeau

 

JUSTIN Trudeau was in West Vancouver last Thursday night to speak about his brother Michel's death and his family's effort to raise funds to build a cabin in his memory at Kokanee Lake. Michel died in an avalanche while hiking in the provincial park on Nov. 13, 1998. His body was never recovered. This fundraiser, which was hosted by former West Vancouver mayor Mark Sager, was an elegant affair complete with champagne reception and dinner. Quite a few notable were in attendance at Capilano Golf and Country Club. Check out the faces below.

Senator Ray Perrault (left) and Dr. Harry Gelfant both knew Pierre Trudeau and happily lend their support to his son's efforts.
