West Van Seniors Swing Dance

THERE's just something about the annual West Vancouver Seniors' Swing Dance event that makes you feel good all over. Maybe it's the live music and jazz ballads played by "The Milleraires". Maybe it's the beautiful dresses worn by all those elegant ladies. Maybe it's the romantic mood in the air as couples twirl each other across the floor. Or maybe it's just the atmosphere of fun that always seems to exist at the Seniors Centre. Anyways, last weekend that was the way it was. It's an event that always gives me a big warm fuzzy feeling all over and one you'll want to keep your eyes open for next year.

I'm guessing that even Frank Sinatra could be bewitched by pretty Pat Stansfield's sly, come hither stare.

A rousing rhumba always gets Dick and Rusty Primeau up on the floor. You should see these two dance. Wow.

Let's not forget the boys in the band. Bass player Ken Bernard (from left) joined trombone players Anthony Dodd and Wally Dyer during a break.
