NV Rotary 50th Anniversary

FIFTY years ago, the North Vancouver Rotary Club came into being. A lot has changed since then, including the inclusion of women into the organization, but the service club remains steadfast to its creed as ". . . an organization of business and professional persons united world wide who provide humanitarian service." Last Monday, it was time to celebrate at North Vancouver's Cheers restaurant. The honour guard was present, as was Rotary members from across the North Shore. Past and present dignitaries mingled during the reception and, after dinner, guest speakers took to the microphone. Congratulations Rotary!
