The Proclaimers

THEY would walk 500 miles, but instead they took a plane from Britain, then a limo from pub to pub to entertain their many fans and promote their new album. The Proclaimers, the popular twin brother geek-rock duo from Edinburgh, Scotland landed here on the North Shore on July 25 at Seymour's Pub. They sang three songs, shook some hands, signed some autographs and then were off to the next venue. After five stops, they ended the pub crawl at Vancouver's Railway Club. It was all part of a promotion tour that lower mainland fans were happy to see.
