NSMS Family Day

PROMOTING cultural diversity is what the North Shore Multicultural Society is all about. Their board members and volunteers work hard all year long to provide opportunities for people from different cultures to learn about each other and to appreciate the contributions each one of us can make to the quality of life here in Canada. On Sunday, Feb. 25, at North Vancouver's NS Neighbourhood House, the society held their annual Family Day celebrations. It was a carnival-like atmosphere with ethnic food, games, raffle prizes, silent auction items and demonstrations. Fun for all ages.
