Saltaire
publicist Lisa MacFarlane deserve a lot of credit for organizing
this big event. She and Much West host Chris Nelson were happy
with the turnout.

Musicians
Barney Bental (left) and Jim Byrnes were swapping stories about
Barney's cows. Apparently they wandered away from his Vancouver
island ranch one day and it took him three days to round them
all back up again.

I
was really impressed with Bif Naked (left) for her kind demeanor
and genuinely friendly personality. Wearing her trademark tattoos
and purple hair, she got a hug from one of Much West's founders,
Terry David Mulligan.

Who
says tending bar can't be fun. From left: Eric Ramos, George Katagai
and inspiring musician Craig McLaren are all members of Saltaire's
staff.

They're
good old boys, and they come from the North Shore. Singing songs
we all know and love, Duane Keogh (from left), Aaron Chapman and
David Keogh are better known as the celtic band The Town Pants.

|
"I'm
Afraid of Britney Spears" is a song you might recognize from the
radio thanks to this up-and-coming girl group. Foxy Herst (from
left), Leah Emmott, Colette Trudeau and Brittin Karroll make up
the band LiveonRelease.

|
Neil
Osbourne and his band, 54-40, are Vancouver originals. This night
he was seen with not one, but two beautiful young ladies, namely
twelve-year-old daughter Coral (left) and ten-year-old daughter
Kandle (right).

|
Pretty
Jenaya DeWaal (centre) is a big fan of Todd Kerns (left) and Scotty
McCarger. Now known as the group Static in Stereo, these boys
are headed for the top of the charts.
|
|
Loverboy's
cover boy, Mike Reno, seen here with wife Pam, still makes his
music his major focus. Both Mike and Pam live in West Vancouver.
|
|
Brian
Burback (from left), Paul Gillard and Troy Healy, better known
as Strangedays, will be rocking out in Burnaby on April 27 at
Studebakers.
|
|
Bass
player Rich Priske is one of the reasons the Matthew Good Band
is so successful. In 1997, their album "Underdogs" went platinum.
|
|
VTV's
Shawn Foss was a former Much Music videographer. He caught up
with local jazz diva Tammy Weiss during the reception.
|
|
Chin
Injeti (left) used to play with the group Bass in Base, but now
he's gone solo. He entertained the crowd this night, much to the
pleasure of Saltaire's executive chef Derek Myers.
