FIFTEEN years ago the flamboyant Richard Lucas set up shop in Vancouver to promote some of the best and brightest stars around. Today, his talent agency is one of the most sought after having spawned the careers of many famous faces. On Thursday, Nov. 8, Richard turned the Commodore Ballroom into "The Lucas Lounge" where he threw a spectacular charity event in celebration of his many years in show business. Live jazz started off the evening, which was then followed by a star-studded fashion show complete with celebrity look-alikes. After some dancing, the queens took over as "La Cage Au Lucas" impersonators did their thing. A silent auction also helped raised funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. |
