send-off as they boarded the morning train.

If
you want something done, come and see these gals. Organizer Diana
Charlton (left) and retiring foundation member Sheilah Grant deserve
a lot of credit.
|
|
They
just can't help putting on a display. The NS News' own Mark Hood
(left) and Larry Verigin traveled up by train.
|
|
Waiting
to tee off at the 10th was TD Bank's Mike Watson and team member
Linda Bowyer.

Drive
for show, but putt for dough with these ladies. Working the putting
competition was volunteers Coreen Eden, Bonna Gulak and Colleen
McElligott.

At
22, Liam Maynard can hit the ball a long, long way. Thank goodness
he was one of my team members. Thanks for doing the driving -
wink.
|
|
"Bogey
the Bear", became one of the team when he wandered out to watch
us tee off on the 3rd. He followed us around for a while, scared
a few people out of the bathrooms, then settled down in the clover.

Thanks
to LGH chief of staff Dr. John Maynard (left) for being my team
captain. He joined Bayer rep Shari McKinley and plastic surgeon
Dr. Les Kerluke at the 19th hole. PS - be sure to ask John about
the birdie dance.

|
David
Cottrell (left) caught up with formner BCMA president, and my
team mate, Bill Ibbott after his round. Thanks for all the fun
Bill, you were great.
|
|
For
five years now, committee members Don Foster (left) and Dr. Mike
Knight have put this event together. A special thanks to Don who
will be stepping down next year. His efforts will be missed.
|
|
North
Shore Health Region chairman Grant Spitz (left) sat next to Intrawest's
Joe Houssian to enjoy some dinner.
|
|
Dr.
Bob Puddicombe (centre) welcomed guests Ed Beketa (left) and Jim
Oliver to his table.

*big*
A
big cheque indeed. A record amount of $245,000 was raised this
year and presented to NS Health Region CEO Bruce Harbour (from
left), Don Foster, Grant Spitz and LGH Foundation chair Mary Downie.
