Leo Awards - 2001

IT'S "British Columbia's celebration of excellence in film and television", but it felt more like the Oscars had come to town. There was lots of glitz and glamour as movie and television producers, directors and actors came out for a five-star dinner and gala awards ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Nominees from categories like best documentary, best short film, best dramatic television series and so on were in attendance and there were more than a few North Shore faces in the crowd. Truly a night to remember.
