THIRTEEN is a lucky number for the North Shore's Harvest Project as they held their 13th Annual Community Christmas Dinner on Saturday Dec 15 at the North Van Recreation centre. David Foster, founder of the Harvest Project, and his gang of dedicated volunteers always pull together one of the nicest Christmas dinners around. Featuring a full sit-down dinner, candlelight, music, gifts from Santa and door prizes. It's the project's way of bringing a "happier Christmas to hundreds of needy families in our community." All 325 seats were full this year and everyone had a great night. |
