Edgemont Lantern Festival

THERE was fire and magic in the air in Edgemont Village last Friday night as the North Vancouver Community Arts Council presented the "Wild Lights Festival". The event marked the end of a series of live concerts that had taken place in the village througout the summer. It started at 7 p.m. with a free lantern making workshop as Johnny Ferreira and the Swing Machine took to the stage. Then, at 9 p.m., all the lanterns were lit as the group "Public Dreams" took to the streets for a parade and fire show. Great family fun to wrap up the summer.
