Dundarave Trees

THINGS were a little different this year at the Dundarave Beach House, but now and then, a little change is good. The 2001 Festival of Lights is an annual event that usually attracts hundreds of families to the Dundarave pier for the lighting of the trees that line the property. This year was much quieter, with the lights being turned on a little earlier, but the festive party inside the restaurant (for tree sponsors) was hopping. Gone is the dressy cocktail atmosphere (too bad in my opinion), as jeans and sweaters prevailed, but the Beach House restaurant still served things up in style. All donations from the event go to support the Harvest Project. Come and see the trees for yourself all during December.
