WV Police Volunteers

WEST Vancouver's police force is among the best around. The men and women who protect our community do their jobs with honour. Thanks to them, we live in a happy, safe environment. Still, most people don't realize that there is also a great many volunteers and support personnel working with the officers. The people who dedicate their time to things like Victims Services, or who sit on the police board are a very integral part of everything that happens. On Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Park Royal Hotel, the police held their Volunteer Appreciation night. It was a chance to say "thanks" to everyone behind the scenes.
