North Shore Disability Resource Centre, 25 years - Catherine Barr

THE North Shore Disability Resource Centre Association, formerly the North Shore Association for the Physically Handicapped, was established in 1975 by a group of family and friends that wanted to address the needs of young disabled people in our community. Twenty-five years later, the celebration continues. The many wonderful people and participants who are involved in the programs and services are truly a credit to our community at large. It's a special kind of love that you feel the moment you enter the room. "People with disabilities have the same rights and responsibilities as any other community member." Congratulations on your anniversary.
