North Shore Garden Awards

GROW it! Show it! That's the slogan of the North Shore Gardens Contest Society. Last Wednesday, September 20, the society held its 14th annual awards night at St. Andrew's and St. Stehen's Presbyterian Church. The society honours those talented individuals who put their green thumbs to good use to make their gardens grow. With so many creative and impressive gardens, all the individuals here deserve credit. The event was well attended (even the mayor was there). Guests enjoyed an evening of awards, presentations, a slide show and a reception afterwards.
