FOR the past 12 years, the West Vancouver Firefighters have been raising money for the Children's Hospital Network Telethon. Counting this year, close to $69,000 has been raised. Last Saturday, they were out there again with buckets, hoses and scrub brushes hosting their annual "Car Wash for Kids" fundraiser. The event itself raised over $3,500 which, when added to the money already raised, will come to a total of $5,000. The boys will present the cheque to the hospital on live television on June 4, sometime between 3-4 p.m., so tune in to the Children's Network Telethon and give them your support.
