Centennial Theatre Opening

CENTENNIAL Theatre in North Vancouver got a great big facelift just in time for its 35th anniversary. And what a year it's going to be. The renovations to the new lobby are most impressive as are the new rehearsal areas downstairs. Best of all, the theatre is now totally wheelchair accessible (and includes specialty seating). Selected artwork, by local artists, is also a special feature of the theatre's new image. The big gala evening is tonight as the NS Arts Comission holds its annual FANS awards night. But don't fret, there's a free afternoon of family fun on Sunday Oct. 15 between 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., so come on down and see what's shaking.
