IT'S a staff party like no other. Each year, the Capilano Suspension Bridge executives put on a spectacular formal evening to thank their workers for all of their dedication and hard work. It's really a great way for the gang to get together before the busy season ends and everyone starts returning to school. Last Friday, at the Canyon House Banquet Rooms, the theme was James Bond and everyone really got into the spirit. Also, thanks to the generosity of bridge owner Nancy Stibbard, three lucky students were awarded scholarships to help them continue with their studies. Winners must have two year service or more, participate in extra curricular activities, do some volunteer work and maintain a good grade point average. "Everybody really enjoyed themselves and the evening went of extremely well," said operations manager Craig Nichols. |
