Cancer Drivers' BBQ - Catherine Barr

SOMETIMES, it's the little things in life that matter the most. This is especially true when you're fighting a disease like Cancer. Everyday, hundreds of patients across the Lower Mainland head to hospitals and clinics for treatment of this deadly disease. Last weekend, it was time to say "thank-you" to a special group of North Shore volunteer drivers. Each week, they dedicate a good number of their days to helping patients get to their destinations. A great way to share some spirit. If you feel you can help and want to become a volunteer driver, call Linda Kelly (at the Canadian Cancer Society - BC and Yukon Division), phone 253-8470 Ext. 226.
