Buchanan Bowl

FOR over 30 years now, the Carson Graham Eagles and the Handsworth Royals have battled it out on the football field at the annual Buchanan Bowl. Named after the late teacher James Buchanan, the event is a popular draw and is even televised on local cable. On Oct. 28, students from each school dressed up in their school colours and came out to cheer on their teams. This year belonged to Carson Graham as both their junior and senior squads won their respective games, but as you'll see below, there was still lots for both schools to smile about. |
